Suits

How do your suit sizes compare to other brands? 

Our suits tend to run pretty standard. However, our styles tend to be more... cheeky. This smaller coverage may make the suit feel a bit smaller, but you'll love them!

A suit I want is out of stock. When will it be restocked? 
We do our best to keep everything in stock to keep you happy! Unfortunately, sometimes there's just too much love for our suits and we can't keep up. All our suits are made by hand in Costa Rica so backordered styles may have a small delay. Have no fear... you'll have it soon!

Where are your suits made? 
We make our suits in Costa Rica. From design to production we're involved in every part of the experience. We love our team and we strive to have the highest quality product, so we stay involved. 

How should I wash my suits?
We recommend throughly hand washing and air drying your suit after every use.  A mild detergent (think Woolite) and cold water is preferable. Please avoid any washing or drying machine as those may cause damage. 

Are your suits covered by warranty? 
Our team takes pride in providing solid sewing construction. If you ever do experience this (we hope not!) send an email with a picture to amanda@thegildedcoconut.com and we'll get it sorted for you. 

ORDERS 

I want to mix my sizes. I'm a small top, but a large medium. What do I do? 
Not everyone is built the same. We get that. We'll do our best to help you order the right sizes. If we have the styles/sizes in stock we'll gladly mix the sizes. Just email us.

Can I change or cancel my order? 
Once you place an order, we start on the packing and shipping process right away, so we are unable to make changes. If you realize you’ve made a mistake in your order, please email us.

How can I track my order? 
Once your order has been shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

I received a damaged/defective/incorrect item. What do I do? 
Please contact us immediately and we will be happy to help you. Email us.

 SHIPPING 

 When will my order ship? 

Items in stock typically ship within 2 business days of the order date. Orders placed on Friday or the weekend will ship out the following Monday.  This includes all shipping types (even expedited). 

My order was delivered but I never got it. What do I do? 
Sometimes orders get delivered to your local post office or the wrong house by accident. First check with your neighbors, mailman and local post office. Still no luck? Email us. 

 RETURNS & EXCHANGES 

What's your return/exchange policy?   
Suits within 15 days of purchase can be returned for store credit, as long as the tags are still attached and the suit has NOT been worn.    

How do I return/exchange my suit? 
Email us and we'll provide a Return Authorization number (RA#) for the return. Items returned without an RA# will not be accepted or returned. 

How long does it take for me to get a refund? 
Please allow 2 weeks for your return to be processed. You will receive a refund confirmation email once your refund has been issued. 

MISCELLANEOUS 

Can I pre-order a suit or be put on a waiting list? 

Yup! We're thrilled you're so excited about our suits and we want you to get your hands on it. Email us and we'll set you up.
